Treason case against Pervez Musharraf: Justice (retd) Abdul Hameed’s plea to be heard today
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court will hear Justice (retd) Abdul Hameed’s plea against the verdict of the anti-terrorism court in the treason case against Pervez Musharraf.
The two-member bench comprising of Justice Noorul Haq and Justice Amir Farooq will hear the plea on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, former president Pervez Musharraf has termed the cases against him as politically-motivated.
“Some elements in the government are in collusion with extremists ideologically. The government is not fully supporting the Army in the National Action Plan,” he said.
Pervez Musharraf said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted to suppress Pakistan.
“He (Modi) has to change his thought. The people fighting in Kashmir Mujahidin,” he added.
