Tribesmen rally in Landi Kotal to protest against US

LANDIKOTAL (92 News) – The tribesmen of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) have on Monday staged a protest demonstration from Landi Kotal to Torkham border against the US.

Hundreds of rallied from Landi Kotal to Torkham border, shouting slogans against the United States and President Donald Trump condemning the US policy.

Participants of the rally were carrying placards inscribed with slogans to protect the national sovereignty and integrity at any cost.

The Peshawar-Torkham Highway and gate at Pak-Afghan border has been blocked for all sorts of traffic.

Another protest rally was also taken out in Ghalanai, the headquarters of Mohmand Agency, today.

Addressing the rally, tribal elders condemned the statement of US President Donald Trump against Pakistan.


The speakers lauded the sacrifices of security forces to eliminate terrorists from the country. The protesters also blocked Ghalanai-Bajaur Road. Later, they dispersed peacefully.

The protesters also chanted slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army.

A large number of protesters holding Pakistan flags, including members of the Sikh community, also made their way towards the border, along with scores of vehicles.
