WASHINGTON (92 News) – United States President Donald Trump has announced to meet with the Pakistani officials soon.

Trump stated these remarks when he prepared to depart the White House for a factory visit in Ohio, where he would also meet with his supporters.

Lauding the Pakistan’s role for peace and stability in the region and bringing Taliban on the table of talks, President Trump said, his administration would meet with the Pakistani officials soon.

Washington, Islamabad enjoying very good relations: Trump

The US president mentioned that the US was enjoying very good relations with Pakistan.

The US-Pakistan relationship has witnessed a fair share of ups and downs recently, with President Trump announcing to make a cut worth $300 million in military aid to Pakistan last year.

In last year on NOV 19,  Harshly responding latest tweets of the US president against Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday termed that Pakistan has suffered enough fighting the US’s war, clarifying “Now we will do what is best for our people and our interests.”

Imran Khan’s latest rebuttal came after American president tweeted about Pakistan’s alleged inaction against Osama bin Laden and Afghanistan.

Hitting back to US President Donald Trump’s provocative tweets, PM Khan said, “Trump’s false assertions add insult to the injury Pak has suffered in US WoT in terms of lives lost & destabilised & economic costs. He needs to be informed abt historical facts. Pak has suffered enough fighting US s war. Now we will do what is best for our people & our interests.”

In his tweet earlier, relentless the US president accused Pakistan of ‘doing nothing’ for the United States despite receiving billions of dollars in aid.

“We no longer pay Pakistan billions of dollars because they would take our money and do nothing for us. Bin Laden being a prime example, Afghanistan being another,” the US president claimed in his tweeted. “They were just one of many countries that take from the United States without giving anything in return. That’s ending!,” he added.

Trump said the US had “paid Pakistan billions of dollars and they never informed us he [Osama bin Laden] was living there.”

Trump in his tweet said the US should have captured Osama bin Laden long before the 2011 Abbottabad raid. “I pointed him out in my book just before the attack on the World Trade Center. President Clinton famously missed his shot,” Trump said in his tweet.
