ISLAMABAD (92 News) – All the parliamentary parties are on the same page in reaction to US President Donald Trump’s anti-Pakistan tweet.

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif briefed the Parliamentary Committee on National Security about the situation emerging after the Trump’s statement.

He said that Trump is talking in the language of India. “Pakistan’s security forces have given tremendous sacrifices in the war on terror and that there will not be any compromise on our dignity,” he maintained.

Khawaja Asif said that the US is making Pakistan a scapegoat for its failure in the war in Afghanistan. “The US statements on Pakistan are contrary to the facts,” he added.

NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that defence agencies will also be summoned in the next meeting. “There is need to understand security matters. We have clarified several questions. The question raised will be discussed in the next meeting,” he said.
