Two brothers killed in alleged encounter in Okara
LAHORE (92 News) – Police have on Monday shot dead two brothers while the third managed to escape during an alleged shootout in Okara’s Basirpur areas but the family of the deceased brothers accused police of killing youngsters in fake encounter.
As per details, two brothers Pervaiz and Shahzain were killed in alleged police encounter while their third brother Bilal managed to escape. Police said that the accused were engaged in looting the citizens.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased brothers staged a protest demonstration outside Lahore Press Club and accused the police of arresting the three brothers Pervaiz, Bilal and Shahzain from Lahore’s Bhatta Chowk area. They expressed fear that the police would also kill Bilal.
The heirs of the deceased said that the police had killed two brothers 11 months ago on behalf of rivals, adding that their bodies have not been recovered yet.
