Two injured in roadside blast in Muzaffarabad

MUZAFFARABAD (92 News) – At least two persons were injured in a roadside explosion in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s (AJK) Chakothi area on Monday.

As per details, the ill-fated incident occurred in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Chakothi area when a passenger van hit an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) which blew off with a bang, leaving two the driver and conductor of the van injured.

Following the blast, the rescue teams reached the spot and rushed the injured people to hospital for medical assistance.


Security forces have launched investigation into the incident.
