Four siblings die in house fire in Lahore
LAHORE (92 News) – Four siblings – two brothers and as many sisters – died when fire broke out in their house in Ghoray Shah area on Wednesday.
Their mother had lit a stove to beat the cold and went out of the house for some work. Clothes lying near the stove caught fire, which spread the house in no time.
On their hue and cry, locals gathered there and tried to rescue them, but found the house locked.
As a result, three-year-old Aisha and her sister Tayyaba, while 11-year-old Saba and 15-day-old Ali Hamza received burns and shifted to Mayo Hospital where they died.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of the children and sought a report from the administration.
