Two militants killed in Rangers’ targeted operation in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) – As many as two suspected terrorists were killed in Ghaggar Phatak area in an an encounter with Rangers personnel late Tuesday night.
As per Rangers spokesperson, the paramilitary force cordoned off the area on an intelligence cue and engaged with the terrorists killing two of the operatives of an outlawed militant group. “Two of the militants took fatal hits after exchanging fire with the paramilitary troops,” he said. “Illegal arms and ammunition also found from the possession of the two terror suspects.”
Earlier in the day, DSP SITE Majeed Abbas was shot dead while he traveled in his personal vehicle. The murder case has been registered at Shah Latif Town police station.
