Two MQM militant wing operatives held, huge cache of arms seized

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Rangers have on Friday apprehended two accused belonging to the militant wing of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and seized huge cache of weapons in Garden area of Karachi.

As per details, on a tip off, the paramilitary force carried out a raid in Garden area of Karachi and detained two accused belonging to the militant wing of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) namely Asghar Khan and Muhammad Hassan.

The law enforcers have also recovered huge cache of weapons on the information of arrested accused.

The seized weapons include eight SMGs, one rifle, seven Repeaters, 12 Shotguns, 8mm rifles, one 7mm rifles, one 303 rifle, one mauser, one 22mm rifle, three 30 bore pistols and around 10,000 rounds.


The Rangers spokesman said that the weapons were to be used to disrupt law and order in the city.

Further interrogation is underway from the arrested accused.
