RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Two soldiers were martyred and as many terrorists killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) near Charkhel Village, North Waziristan on Thursday.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, security forces conducted the IBO after getting information about the presence of terrorists in a hideout. In an exchange of fire with the terrorists, Havaldar Sher Zaman and Sepoy Muhammad Jawad embraced martyrdom.

During the operation, two terrorists were killed.

On December 1, two terrorists were killed and a Frontier Corps (FC) personnel martyred in the attack on FC post in North Waziristan near Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

According to a statement of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director Genera Mag Gen Asif Ghafoor, terrorists attacked FC post in North Waziristan near Pak-Afghan Border. During the exchange of firing, two terrorists were killed.

The ISPR said that two FC personnel were also injured in the incident while the martyred FC personnel was Lance Naik Muhammad Imran.

“Terrorist fire raided FC post in North Wazirstan Distt near Pak-Afg Border. During exchange of fire 2 terrorists killed. Lance Naik Muhammad Imran of FC KP embraced shahadat while 2 FC soldiers got injured,” the DG ISPR tweeted.
