UAE Armed Forces chief calls on COAS General Raheel Sharif, CJCSC Chairman General Rashad Mahmood
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Hamad Mohamed Thani Al Rumaithy called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters on Monday, said a press release issued by the ISPR.
He was accompanied by Brigadier General Saleh Mohamed Saleh Alameri, Commander United Arab Emirates Land Forces and the Pak-UAE Defence Cooperation Committee head.
Matters of mutual interests, including steps to enhance defence cooperation between both countries, were discussed during the meeting.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Hamad Mohamed Thani Al Rumaithy also called on Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Chairman General Rashad Mahmood.
Both the dignitaries discussed matters related to professional interest and mutual cooperation between the two armed forces. They also discussed current security situation in the Middle East.
Lieutenant General Hamad Mohamed Thani Al Rumaithy is heading a high-level delegation.
The visit is part of bilateral measures to enhance cooperation between the two armed forces.
