Ugly scenes as scuffle witnessed in Sindh Assembly
KARACHI (92 News) – Ugly scenes were witnessed in Sindh Assembly on Thursday when a scuffle broke out between Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) Mukesh Kumar Chawla and Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Abdullah during the Member Provincial Assembly Shamim Mumtaz’s address.
The fighting erupted when a Shamim Mumtaz indirectly taunted MQM in her address to the provincial assembly with a reference of ‘London’.
The clash was erupted after exchange of harsh arguments between MQM’s Azeem Farooqi and PPP’s Mukesh Chawla and then started physically manhandling each other.
Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izharul Hassan and Sardar Ahmad intervened and tried to pacify the situation.
Talking to 92 News, PPP’s Mukesh Kumar said that the MQM members were the first to start the clash but now the matter has been resolved.
The session was adjourned until Friday (tomorrow) morning.
