UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon phones PM Nawaz Sharif, calls for resolving Saudi-Iran dispute
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon telephoned Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and asked him to use his good office to find a solution to the prevailing tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
He said that the prime minister enjoys good relations with both the countries and can play a vital and pivotal role in this regard.
He emphasized that the prime minister can resolve the issue.
The prime minister briefed the UN secretary general about his visits to Iran and Saudi Arabia.
