ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The United States has contacted Pakistan for the release of its five nationals imprisoned on terrorism charges in Sargodha Jail.
Sources in the Interior Ministry said that US citizens Ahmed Abdullah Minni, Umar Farooq, Aman Hassan Yemer, Waqar Hussain Khan and Ramy Zamzam were sentenced to 10 years each by an Anti-Terrorism Court.
They said all of them were arrested from Sargodha Cantonment in 2009. “America has demanded the release of its five citizens,” they added.
