US President Barack Obama phones PM Nawaz Sharif, expresses grief over Lahore tragedy
LAHORE (92 News) – American President Barack Obama phoned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to express sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the Lahore tragedy.
The US president assured Pakistan all-out cooperation in eliminating terrorism.
He said that they stood by the Pakistani government and the people at the time of this trial.
He said Pakistan had made significant progress in the war against terrorism under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Obama said Pakistan would succeed in the war against terrorism.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the resolve of the government and the people to fight terrorism was getting stronger with every passing day.
He said that the enemy is targeting innocent people, which are soft target after destruction of its infrastructure in the country.
