US satisfied with Pakistan’s nuke program safety: FO Spokesperson Nafees Zakria
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakria has on Thursday said that foreign secretary level talks should now be finalized following the Indian policy statement not to link talks with the progress on Pathankot incident.
Addressing the weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Nafees Zakaria said that the US has expressed satisfaction over the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear program.
He said that the people of Kashmir have never accepted the death sentence of Afzal Guru.
The spokesman said that Pakistan has adopted a principled stand on Syrian crisis as it desires amicable solution of the issue, adding that Pakistan supports efforts towards countering terrorism including the 34-member Saudi led coalition.
