US shouldn’t shift blame for its mistakes, failures onto others: Maleeha Lodhi
GENEVA (92 News) – Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi has said that the US should not shift the blame for its mistakes and failures onto others.
In response to media questions in the United Nation about US envoy Nikki Haley’s comments at an earlier news conference where she repeated President Donald Trump’s allegations, Maleeha Lodhi said that Pakistan has contributed and sacrificed the most in the fight against international terrorism.
She said: “Islamabad’s cooperation with Washington is not based on any aid consideration, but on our national interests and principles.”
She said that Pakistan’s security forces have carried out the largest counter terrorism operation anywhere in the world.
