US in touch with India over worst situation in Occupied Kashmir: John Kirby
WASHINGTON (92 News) – The United States has expressed concern over the ongoing violence in Occupied Kashmir and expressed the hope that tension would be de-escalated.
In a press briefing in Washington, State Department spokesperson John Kirby said that US authorities were in close touch with their Indian counterparts over the worst situation in the Occupied Kashmir. “The US encourages all sides to make efforts to find a peaceful solution to the problem.”
John Kirby urged the Indian government make all-out efforts to protect Kashmiris and hold the perpetrators accountable.
