Usman Dar appointed PM’s Youth Programme chairman
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar has been appointed new chairman of Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.
Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the appointment of Usman Dar as PM’s Youth Programme chairman. A notification has also been issued in this regard.
Talking about Dar’s appointment, the prime minister said that Usman Dar is the best choice for this post. He added that revolutionary steps will be taken for the well-being of the youth under the programme.
In his video message after appointment, Usman Dar said that providing job opportunities and relevant training to the youth will be his foremost priority.
The chairman also announced to carry out audit of the alleged corruption in laptop scheme.
In the previous tenure of the government, disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter, Maryam Nawaz, was the chairman of the programme.
