Wanted terrorist among 31 held in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (92 News) – The security forces have on Friday at least 31 people including a wanted terrorist during operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s different cities.

As per details, on a tip off, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a raid at a secret hideout in Mardan and detained a wanted terrorist namely Waseem alias Kamran.

The arrested terrorist is accused of attacking police party in Swabi in 2015. According to CTD, an accomplice of the wanted terrorist had blew himself up, while Waseem along with others managed to flee.

On the other hand, police conducted an operation in Peshawar’s Phandu Police precincts and nabbed 30 suspects.


Meanwhile, police have recovered a suicide jacket during raids in Swabi’s Chota Lahore area.
