Waseem Dehlvi’s killing: Four officials’ sent on physical remand

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Four police officials were sent on a 13-day physical remand today (Friday) in the case related to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Waseem Dehlvi’s killing.

As per reports, the police officials were presented before a judicial magistrate’s court where the police requested to grant a remand to further investigations. The court granted a 13-day remand of the suspects.

Earlier, Sub-inspector Zameer Hussain alongwith three others were arrested on the directions of Sindh Inspector General of Police on the charges of killing MQM worker Waseem Dehlvi in police custody. Later, the victim’s family staged a protest against his killing and demanded to release his brothers.
