Washington encourages Indo-Pak counterterrorism cooperation
WASHINGTON (92 News) – US State Department Spokesman Mark Toner has on Wednesday said that Pakistan must restrict terrorists from carrying out activities inside Pakistan and in the region.
Addressing a news briefing in Washington on Wednesday, he said that the United States is in favor of dialogue between India and Pakistan to resolve issues.
The spokesman said that better Indo-Pak relations are in best interest of the US.
He said that Washington encourages greater dialogue and counterterrorism cooperation between both Pakistan and India.
He also called for greater collaboration and greater dialogue saying we would encourage any effort in that regard.
