BADIN (92 News) – The estranged Pakistan People’s Party leader Zulfiqar Mirza has on Friday said that now many party leaders will come along with them after they sweeped local government elections in Badin.

Talking to media, Zulfiqar Mirza strongly criticised the provincial government and accused the PPP-led provincial government of rigging, adding that he still have many good friends in the party.

He further expressed fear of change in electoral results. “The PPP has lost elections in important constituencies,” he said.

Mirza said that the PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari should reconsider his attitude, adding that they have defeated the Zardari League not the party.

The estranged leader further congratulated his supporters over the clean sweep.
