We want relations with India on the basis of equality, says COAS Gen Raheel

LONDON (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has on Thursday said that we want good relations with India but we will not compromise the honor and dignity.

Addressing a dinner ceremony hosted by the Pakistani High Commissioner to London Abn-e-Abbas, the army chief said that we want we want relations with India on the basis of equality, adding that we want good relations with Afghanistan.

Gen Raheel Sharif said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project will stabilize and bring economic prosperity to the entire region.

The COAS said that the country was in a state of despair but Operation Zarb-e-Azb has brought comfort to the country, adding that peace has been restored in the country including Karachi. “Incidents of terrorism have decreased.”


“Pakistan Army has played pivotal role in restoring peace and stability in the country and the war against terrorism will continue till its logical end,” Gen Raheel said.
