Weather turns chilly after drizzle in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) – Weather turned more chilly after light drizzling in Karachi. Rains and continuously blowing cool breezes provided much needed relief to the people by decreasing temperature.
Kiamari, Nazimabad, North Karachi and I.I Chundrigar Road received light drizzle.
The rainfall served as a respite for people as the weather turned pleasant and the temperature dropped a few degrees.
The majority of Karachiites started arriving at parks, sea view and other picnic spots located in the city along with family to enjoy and take full benefit from the changing weather.
The Met Office has predicted that light rain is expected in Karachi in coming days dominated by cool breezes.
On the other side, mercury drops to -5 °C in Quetta whereas -7°C in Kalat. Tourists thronged the mountainous areas in Quetta, Gilgit and Swat. They are being warmly welcomed in Muree, Mansehra, Abbottabad and Azad Kashmir and necessary arrangements have been made by the concerned authorities to clear snow from the roads.
The visitors, who stuck in traffic, were being given dry fruit packets and water. The city traffic police arranged hot stoves in different places for the visitors.
