ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Criticizing the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the whole of PML-N has gathered around fugitives.

In a tweet, the special assistant has said that it is ironic that among PML-N leaders gathered in London for consultations on legislative matters, include those who are wanted by law.

She also mentioned that just like it is right of every prisoner to get medical treatment; it is also the right and obligation of the law to hold violators accountable.

Firodus Ashiq Awan commented on the meeting of PML-N leaders held on Saturday in London that focused on the extension of the army chief, the government’s accountability drive against opposition leaders and other political issues.

It is pertinent to mention here that the top brass of the PML-N are in London where they are holding consultations with party chief Shahbaz Sharif and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on issues of national importance.

After the meeting, Khawaja Asif informed the media that the leadership had discussed the parliamentary matters. “We cannot comment on the issue of extension of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa,” he said.

The PML-N leader said that the in-house change is the first phase for the new elections. Shehbaz Sharif said that they could not tell the date for their return as they have appointments with doctors after Christmas.

Six PML-N leaders including Rana Tanvir Hussain, Khwaja Asif, Marriyum Auranzeb, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Senator Pervaiz Rashid and Amir Muqam met the Sharif brothers in London.
