Why choose a job if you haven’t command on it, Zardari lambasts on govt

BADIN (92 News) – Former president Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday lambasted on the government, saying that why choose a job if they don’t have any command on it.

Addressing a rally in Badin, Zardari criticized that the capitan [PM Imran Khan] has picked up a ‘begging bowl’ and asking for money from every country. “Why do you do the job that you don’t have any command on…I’ve never played cricket because I didn’t know about it,” he said.

Taking a jibe at the government, the PPP co-chairman said that why they had chosen to run the country when it didn’t know how to. He lambasted the government for ‘failing to perform’ [destroy economy] since assuming the reins of the country.

“Accuse me all you like. Bring forward not one but 50 cases against us. It doesn’t affect me or the public. We will continue the fight,” the former president said. The former president said that whenever he spent time in jails, his reputation got boosted.

“We know what the public wants. That’s why they vote for us. Our fight is for the truth and democracy.”


The PPP leader vowed to keep working to take Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s vision forward. “Bibi has left this responsibility to me to help the poor. We will continue to work for the poor,” he added.

The former president said that the government has been lodging several cases against PPP leaders but such cases could not influence his eminence in politics. PPP leader Sharjeel Memon had won election while he was in jail which proved that our supporters are always there to support BB’s mission, he said.
