Wide-spread heavy rains in KPK, Punjab; Met department forecasts more rains

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Parts of KPK and Punjab received heavy rain Monday,.

As per details, Mianwali and its suburbs received a record 184 mm of rain.

According to Met office, scattered rain thundershower is expected at Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Faisalabad divisions, FATA and Kashmir while at isolated places of Gujranwala, Lahore, Sahiwal, Malakand, Hazara divisions, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 12 hours.

Isolated heavy falls in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu divisions and upper FATA may generate urban and flash flooding in local streams and nullahs.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning was: Islamabad twenty-five degree centigrade, Lahore and Muzaffarabad twenty-four, Karachi twenty-eight , Peshawar twenty-six, Quetta twenty-two, Gilgit twenty-three,  Murree seventeen degree centigrade.
