Will introduce best legislation to control incidents like Motorway tragedy: PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has resolved that the government will introduce the best legislation to control incidents like the Motorway tragedy so that women as well children could get protection. Addressing the joint session of the parliament on Wednesday, he said that such culprits should be given the exemplary punishments. "We will also bring the law for the protection of witnesses," he said. The prime minister said that the opposition started from the amendment to the NAB laws and was struck at the money laundering. "The opposition presented 34 amendments, out of total 38. The implementation of these amendments was to bury the NAB. The interests of the opposition are anti-Pakistan," he added. He said that the attitude of the opposition was deplorable as it did not care what would happen if Pakistan is included on the blacklist. PM Imran Khan said that FATF-related legislation passed by the House was very important for the country’s future and to steer it out of the grey list.
