ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal on Monday said that he would do whatever it takes to eradicate corruption from the country.

Addressing a function in Lahore on Monday, he said that the impression that the anti-graft watchdog was an obstacle in the country’s development was wrong.

Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said that the Bureau was playing its due role to make the country corruption-free, adding that Pakistan cannot progress without uprooting corruption.

He went on to say that the ridding society of corruption and wrongdoing is not just the NAB’s job and this is a task for society at large.
