NEW DELHI (92 News) – In a dramatic turn of events at the success rally of the odd-even scheme in Delhi’s Chhatrasal stadium, a woman threw ink at chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday.

The woman named Bhavna Arora, who is reportedly affiliated with the Aam Admi Sena in Punjab, shouted slogans and threw fliers at the podium, where senior party leaders were seated.

She attacked while the chief minister was addressing a gathering of nearly 5,000 people to thank Delhi residents for what the government says was a successful odd-even car rationing trial.

Delhi government has criticized the police for inadequate security at the stadium. “What if somebody throws acid instead of ink? Even after the incident, the woman gave bytes on camera and was not arrested. This is a conspiracy by police,” said Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
