Won’t allow any extra-constitutional step, says CJ Saqib Nisar
LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Justice Saqib Nisar has said that they will not allow any extra-constitutional step.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Saturday, he said that the judiciary is completely free and will not accept any pressure.
“Who wants to impose martial law? On only democracy will prevail in the country.” he said.
“If the school funds are not spent on schools, then where the amount is spent,” he questioned.
The chief justice said that over 6,000 schools are deprived of basic amenities in Balochistan. “The condition of schools in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also the same,” he said.
He said that facilities in all hospitals are minimal wherever he went.
The CJP said that health and education departments are being destroyed instead of building them.
