We won’t let successes against terrorism go waste, says COAS General Raheel Sharif
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has said that they will not let successes against terrorism go waste through a conspiracy.
He was presiding over the Corps Commander Conference at GHQ on Tuesday.
The COAS said that the cowardly attack on the judiciary in a Quetta hospital is a conspiracy against the Zarb-e-Azb.
He ordered to expedite the operation against terrorists and their sleeper cells to break their nexus. “The nation stands with the Pak Army in the fight against terrorism,” he maintained.
The COAS ordered the corps commanders and heads of intelligence agencies to launch the combing operation across the country.
He also directed the corps commanders to improve coordination with the provincial law enforcement agencies.
The conference expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs and the injured. The participants were briefed about internal and external security of the country. All the corps commander and principal staff officers participated in the conference.
