Worse performance in World Hockey League: Fact-finding Committee declares PHF officials incompetent
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Fact-finding Committee has forwarded its report on Pakistan Hockey team’s bad performance in the World Hockey League to prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday.
The committee head by the Secretary Inter-Provincial Ministry Ijaz Chaudhary in its report declared the Pakistan Hockey Federation President Akhtar Rasool, Secretary Rana Mujahid, Coach Shahnaz Sheikh and Captain Muhammad Imran incompetent.
The committee expressed distrust on the PHF officials.
The committee said its report that the team was not fully prepare for the Olympic qualifying round.
The committee said that the hockey was not maintained according to modern techniques.
The committee suggested that people understanding modern techniques should be brought in for the betterment of the sport.
The committee also recommended to solve player’s financial issues and the players should be given jobs.
