Youngster killed in alleged police firing in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A youngster was killed and a girl who was on board in the same car along with him escaped unhurt in an alleged police firing in I-9 police precincts in the federal capital on Friday.
As per details, the incident took place in I-9 police precincts when police personnel tried to stop a car at a checkpoint but the boy namely Taimur Riyaz, resident of Mardan failed to stop the car.
On this, the cops opened fire at the car, killing a the boy on the spot, while the girl escaped unhurt.
Following the gunfire, the police personnel managed to flee who were later arrested.
The body of the deceased Taimur Riyaz was shifted to PIMS hospital for post mortem.
