Youth delegation calls on PM Imran Khan, exchanges views on role of media
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A youth delegation called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and exchanged views on the role of the media, especially the social media.
Special Assistant Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukharin ad PM’s Focal Person for Digital Media Dr Arslan Khalid also accompanied the prime minister.
They discussed the challenges faced by the country and steps taken by the government to deal with them.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan had always wanted peace and is still playing a role in this regard. “The fascist Modi government is putting the regional peace and security at stake to help realize their dream of Hindu Rashtra.”
The prime minister said that unjust occupation of Kashmir and amendment in citizenship law are embodiments of the completion of racist designs of India.
He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the federal government had decided to observe February 5 as Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The prime minister emphasized that a strategy to effectively utilize digital media for highlighting true image of Pakistan at international level is the need of hour.
Imran Khan said that the government had started Ehsaas Program and shelters for the poor people. He also underlined the need to highlight tourism potential of Pakistan through the digital media as Pakistan is blessed with some of the most scenic places on earth.
