Youth thrashed in Sialkot for chanting slogan against Kh Asif

SIALKOT (92 News) – The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers clashed with a youth and severely thrashed him on Sunday after he chanted slogans against Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif when he arrived in his hometown Sialkot to lay foundation stone of city’s Kingra Road.

In yet another humiliating incident for the ruling PML-N just one day after a man hurled a shoe at Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal when he was addressing a workers’ convention in Narowal.

This time, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif had to face an awkward situation when a youngster started chanting slogans against him.

After listening to the youngster, the activists of the PML-N became so infuriated and severely thrashed the youth.

Earlier, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal had joined the shoe club on Saturday when he was making the speech against judiciary during a ceremony.

A man namely Bilal Haris, stood up from his seat as Iqbal was making the speech against judiciary during his address in Aliabad area.


The man, Bilal Haris, stood up from his seat as Iqbal arrived on stage to address the convention in Aliabad area. A shoe hit the nearby camera, while another hit him (interior minister).

PML-N workers beat up the man who had hurled the shoe. He has been identified as Bilal Haris. The police arrested and later released the accused. Meanwhile, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal had termed it a conspiracy of his opponents.
