Zardari’s statement about army harsh, condemnable: Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has termed Asif Zardari’s statement about the army harsh and condemnable, saying that Nawaz Sharif, not the Army, had sent him to jail.
Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif have adopted the policy of silence over each other’s corruption. “The Charter of Democracy (CoD) is in fact a bargain agreement,” he claimed.
The PTI chairman alleged that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are protecting each other’s corruption.
About alleged rigging in the general elections 2013, he said that Nawaz Sharif should resign and he too is ready to resign.
He said that everyone knows who is behind the ‘plunder’ in Punjab and Sindh.
“The PPP and PML-N leadership is afraid of the independent NAB in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which does not conceal anyone’s corruption and does the accountability of all without any prejudice,” the PTI chairman maintained.
