ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Youth Affairs Program (PMYAP) in collaboration with National Database and Registration Authority has planned to launch Youth Empowerment Card to make them empowered.
According to an official source, the PMYAP has planned to launch “National Internship Programme” to deal with the issue of unemployment of youth in the country. Aim of the said program is to improve the employability of educated youth to make them economically independent.
He said the program will be a joint initiative of government, universities and industry to channelize the energy of the educated youth in the right direction.
Students will be selected from different educational institutions and they will be paid stipend during internship time period.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Youth Affairs Program in collaboration with National Database and Registration Authority has planned to launch Youth Empowerment Card to make them empowered.
It will be a subsidy card for the youth to avail civic services like travel tickets, passport fees and National Identity Card on subsidized rates.
Earlier, PM Imran Khan launched “Kamyab Jawan Program”
for welfare of youth across Pakistan. 100 billion allocated for “Kamyab Jawan Program” as the loans will be distributed among the young generation from Rs10,000 to Rs5 million.
More than million young people will be benefited through this scheme. Under this program, the educated, talented and skilled youth will get opportunities of development and progress.
Briefing journalists about the programme, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar said the programme is fully focused on ensuring employment opportunities to the youth, providing them proper platforms to excel.
Usman Dar said no amount of people’s tax is incurred on the programme as it is supported by UN Development Programme
. He said the government also devises state of the art digital platform for the youth to help them achieve their goals of a bright future.
